Are They Really that Big?

This story is about how a skinny little plumber from the south side of San Antonio discovered and embraced the influence he can have on anyone; regardless of education or status. It happened directly after a major career change that I doubted I would succeed at. And true to form, the opportunity to learn and grow out weighed the risk so I made the jump.

I left my home (job of 17 years) and entered an entirely foreign space with no guarantees except that I would have to lean heavily on my natural gifts and talents. The decision criteria I used is as follows,

Is the opportunity to learn and expand my network, enough for me to tolerate 3 things:

  • Im going into a situation where I will have no support
  • Im going into a situation where no one likes me or wants me there
  • Im going to get fired within a year

You can guess the answer.

I knew I would have to learn faster than normal, but I had no idea how much I would actually learn; especially what I would learn about myself. The lesson I gained from this experience is one that is applicable to all of us, provided we get uncomfortable and take action.

Action is the primary thing I want to inspire in the readers of the book. Because it is action that freed me from the fears, insecurities, and pains. And since you have taken the action of reading all the way to the end Im gonna let you in on a little secret. The book is available for purchase right now😁 get your hands on a copy.

After you get your reading on Id deeply appreciate you taking one or all of the following actions:

  • Leave a review on the Amazon
  • Post a pic of youre silliest smile with the book
  • Share how your favorite Story impacted you

Thank you for walking with me on my path to Becoming the Promise I am Intended to Be.
